Our Vision
Why We're Here
The foundation for our organization was built in 2000 when the City of Clearwater joined with the YWCA of Tampa Bay to fund a new project to provide victim advocacy and interpreter services for those in need.
In 2006, the Juvenile Welfare Board granted ongoing funding to expand the program, implement youth services, and create the Hispanic Leadership Council. Today, the Council is a 30 member, multi-agency collaboration of government, education, social services and the private sector.
We continue with unwavering resolve to help members of our community become self-sufficient, productive and civically engaged.
Together with our community of donors and our building partners, InterCultural Advocacy Institute will continue to raise the standard of living for all members of our community and collectively strive for a world where all individuals may contribute their talents free of discrimination based on language, race, culture or ethnicity.
